it’s rude to stare

one of our downstairs neighbours has three kids. one of the kids (the eldest, i think) is so weird. is it bad of me to call other people’s kid weird?

anyway, this kid likes to stare at people. all the time. i understand that sometimes you’re curious about somebody but at least have the courtesy to look at them discreetly. this kid, he stares openly.

two days ago, i was out on the balcony for about 15 minutes folding my laundry (the first time in weeks it’s sunny enough outside for that) and he stood on the lawn downstairs with a toy in his hand and looked at me. and he looked and looked and looked. until i finished.

whenever i leave the flat or came home from wherever, if he’s around, he’ll stop whatever it is he’s doing so he can look at me. just stand there and look at me like i’m a bloody museum exhibition or something. what a weirdo, right? and he’s not a little kid, he’s at least 10. that’s, like, sd kelas 4, man.

one of these days, i’m so going to tell him off.

Well, at least he’s a kid. Here a full-grown Dane stare a lot too.

i agree!!!! take little glances….hide the full on stare. i like being outside and people not watching me, even if it is a kid.

exactly. i understand people get curious, i do to but at least i have the decency to not stare so openly for half-a-minute or so. i just think that staring makes people uncomfortable.
