me and january sale

first, it snowed. and snowed. and snowed.

it’s difficult getting out of our parking lot when there’s a lot of snow. so i stayed home.

so much snow, these rubber boots were the only appropriate footwear to put on when it’s time to go outside.

there is no way in heck i would go to the shop looking like that (rubber boots paired with leggings). so i stayed home.

so much snow that my car was snowed in. it stood abandoned under all that snow between 30 december until yesterday.

i couldn’t drive it, obviously. we share one car between us (MOH’s). i couldn’t go anywhere while he’s at work. so i stayed home.

then it stopped snowing. but the temperature dropped. really low. minus followed by double digit low. everything froze.

it hurt to breathe outside. so i stayed home.

and that’s how i missed this year’s january sale. booooooooo 😦

just for fun, here’s our balcony summer 2009

and here it is last week

Good on you that you miss the January sale. No bad intentions at all. I am proud of myself for resisting going to check out the sale as well although Scandinavia’s largest mall *rolls eyes* is next to my office. No way Jose, I just have to pay TONS and TONS of bills 🙂

you’re strong. i bow down to you. i only missed it because of what i’ve said above. otherwise i would’ve been there spending money like crazy. my christmas gift money at the very leatest.

speaking about bills, we just got the first one this month, for nrk. dreading this month.

btw. you work next to scandinavia’s largest mall? i am so coming to visit you. i’ll go to the mall while you’re at work.
